wHY IS INSTAGRAM BAD FOR SOCIETY ?



Our generation has been growing up between social media, television, celebrities, fame...with hope to succeed as well. Instagram may be the most famous platform used in the world and creates a lot of diverse contents that young people watch every day. However, is it actually good for the health mental ? Let's take a look on information that I found during my researches.


We cannot deny that having a phone or social media is a benefit for our social life, as well as intellectually. We are connected with friends and family, we receive news, we may meet people... However, young people are nowadays addict to Instagram and all the contents that it is provided.


First of all, it is obvious that being on a screen all day will have a negative impact on our eyes, brains and so will affect our sleep which is the most important thing when you are growing up. Moreover, Instagram may have an impact on the depression and anxiety since a lot of young people keep dreaming of what they are seeing on the screen but with the awareness that it will probably never happen... Unfortunately, in many cases it ends up being dramatic...

We have to be all careful with the information and pictures that we see on Instagram, a lot of content are fake or retouched. Don't trust everything we see. Use it as a way to pick some ideas or sharing your memories but don't be stuck on the perfect bodies of celebrities, their perfect life... You have your life and keep the positive of it without envy others.
